Planning 10

Planning 10 is a course that allows you to plan for your future, and your future career. It is divided into 4 areas: Graduation Transitions, Education and Careers, Health and Financial Planning.

Graduation Program

In this part of the course, you will learn what you need to graduate from high school (how many and what kinds of classes you need) and how the classes you take could affect your future.

Resume Writing

Here is a link to a Prezi (like a PowerPoint presentation except online and more fun!) that gives some clear tips on how to write a resume.  Feel free to click anywhere on the page and the presentation will start from that point on.  It is primarily based on the resume attached below.

Writing a cover letter

Writing an effective cover letter is one of the most difficult skills studied in Planning 10, for all students, but particularly for ELL students.  Here are a few documents that show you the features of cover letters, and also give you some tips for the kind of language you want to use.
